I like to keep things as simple as possible. The Win 7 and XP machines do not have any extra log ins available or required - they just boot straight into the desktop as no one else uses the computers. None of these seems to interfere with the installation or running on any of my computers. I have also installed the original trial on a laptop and the updated trial(includeds SP1) on a second laptop.Īll computers are updated before installation, and I run AVG antivirus and Zone Alarm basic as firewall and also Spybot Search and Destroy. I have successfully installed X6 on a desktop computer under XP and Win 7 (have two hard drives and I just switch the cabling from the XP to the Win 7 drive when either is required) If it fails to install on another computer as well then you may have to download again. If it installs correctly on another computer than it indicates that the current trial is functional and the problem lies with something on your computer.Ģ. If you try installing the current trial on another computer and it produces the same error then you can suspect that the downloaded trial may have been partially corrupted. I am sorry that you thought that was humorour, but it was a real answer.ġ. Difjuz said: But, seriously, I want to try X6, so I need some real answers.
